About me
Welcome! My name is Whitney, and I’m a San Francisco Bay Area native who loves nothing more than experimenting in my kitchen. When not perusing a farmers market or behind a stove, I’m usually enjoying the great outdoors whether hiking, reading, jogging or training for an upcoming triathlon. This site serves as a platform where I’m able to intermingle and share my favorite creative outlets: writing, cooking, and photography. I navigate through my culinary adventures as I do with the rest of my life… with a happy heart. I sincerely hope that my posts will provide you with a smile… and perhaps even a favorite new recipe!
With joy & gratitude,
Whitney

Pretty impressive site, Whit Whit. The architecture is functional and friendly, and the writing is exceptional.
However, there is one thing on your site that amazes me more than any other: Those “meticulously decorated Easter cookies”. If they were made by the same “Jane” I think they were, well then I suppose my aunt loves you more than me because never once have I seen anything like that at Easter. And I even won the 1986 Piedmont Easter Egg hunt.

Hi Whitney,
I always knew you had this fantastic, wonderfully creative side of you but to happen upon this page was such a delight. I will visit often my friend. I am enjoying all your musings and photos. Very cool…keep on being you.

Hi Whitney,
I was about to create my new Twitter account when I noticed the username @EcoFoodie had already been taken. I couldn’t help being curious, and decided to find out what kind of person would come up with “my” name… Voooilaaà!, it’s you! And as soon as I started reading your posts, I knew we come from the same ´planet´. xD
Discovering your Twitter account, and now your Blog, has been amazing. And, I don’t think it was a simple coincidence. I’m happy I came across the American EcoFoodie.
Keep on sharing your beautiful thoughts with the world,
Antonella (an Italian-Venezuelan EcoFoodie)
